Dinner in Kira (14 Oct 2010)

Sometimes I think myself is kinda lucky, I just join the company for 2 weeks and I already enjoyed many employee benefits from it. First is employee trial stay at Altira Macau-which the company that I'm working in, every staff get to stay in the hotel one night for free, just because the employer wants us to experience the 5 star service in the hotel and to ensure we know exactly the product that we're selling to guests, in this case, we're selling rooms.

Staff like us usually only get the cheapest room for trial stay, cost MOP$ 3600 = RM1440, yeah the cheapest room in the hotel. But, behold everyone, Sin Mei and I get to stay in the most expensive room in our hotel, 2 bedroom Villa cost RM20000 per night! Can imagine how excited we were when our boss told us bout this, lol! The trial stay story leave it to another post (becoz I havent upload the photos yet), today, I'm gonna share with you another lucky story of mine.

So before I join the hotel, it was their golden week which the hotel runs full occupancy and they able to upsold many rooms. Of course, this make our higher level manager a happy person, so he decided to give all the reservation staff a treat in Kira (one of our hotel's signature's restaurant). I was not suppose to dine too coz I just join and didn't help anything, but the manager count me in though. *happy
Some more the restaurant is having promotion, each person around RM232+ and you get to order unlimited foods from their menu, from teppanyaki, sashimi, sushi, tempura and more! You can't imagine how much we've ordered that night. ;)

Unlimited flow of beverages, I chose white wine. A big NO for me, it tastes way bitter than I thought it would be.

Dessert we had green tea and mango ice cream! So sad that they do not have any cakes for dessert. I've been craving for cheesecakes!

With half of my colleagues, another half of them had the dinner one night before us, have to do it separately due to the shift problem. Picture above from left: Benny, Candy- the reservation manager, Maggie, Xavier and me.

It was indeed an enjoyable night because I was so quiet in the office but I talked quite a lot with them last night. A good start isn't it? Oh and this satisfied meal left my stomach bloated like pregnant until late midnight. LOL! Big Satisfaction.
