Hey guys, I am in Macau already. Its been a long and tiring way from M’sia to here where I gone through air, water and land transports only able to reach the final destination, but thanks god for his blessings through the whole journey, I reached Macau safe and sound. And not forgotten friends who texted me or left messages on my facebook wall, all in long paragraph and meaning wishes for me, thanks, I have the most awesome friends in the world. ;)
The family sent me off early in the morning, I didn’t cry this time though, maybe because I’ve already get used of being separated with the family, but distances never separate us, our bond gets so much tighter every time I back home. Loves! <3
Mom still able to capture this in our way rush to KK terminal.
We had 5 hours free time before flight to Hong Kong, Syukri the chingu came to visit. Had a great time with him in the terminal. ;D
With Omma before boarding.
A set of Strawberry and white chocolate donut with white coffee, our tea time on plane.
Landed at Hong Kong international airport at 5pm, strolled around while waiting for the ferry to Macau.
Elevator here super long.
Inside ferry, I think I look quite different with my mom, Syukri said my mom looks like my elder sister, he wants to tackle if she is really my sis. Good one Syukri!! =.=
Reach Regency Hotel. Which I’m gonna stay here for 2 following weeks until I found accommodation. This hotel staff is so friendly, room is quite nice but NO WIRELESS!!!! You know how suffer is it! Both Sin Mei and I have to queue up to use free internet access at the lobby and only allow to use for 10min! This is ridiculous! So now you know how I blog? I have to type my post out in notepad then save to pendrive then copy paste to the public pc. Here explain the reason for the late update, Ewww!
Day 1 in Macau, we had brunch in this small roasted meat shop. Foods here are so much cheaper than in M’sia. My roasted duck rice cost MOP $14 which is only RM 3 ++ Cheap and nice food! Perfect!
This is the first time in my life I saw my mom able to finish the whole plate of rice by herself, no joking man! She loves it! ;D
I had the best companion. Thanks to them and the map because we still able to reach where we want to go although we miss the station and we had to walk by ourselves.
While on our way to Ruins of St. Paul’s, St. Anthony’s Church appeared in front of us out of all sudden.
What I like about Macau is there is a lot of route sign so we wouldn’t get lost easily.
Street shot
Ruin’s of St. Paul’s (大三巴牌坊), the landmark that represented Macau. It’s a must go whenever people come here.
Touristy photo
There were some Portugese dancing in front of St. Paul.
Behind St.Paul’s. A HUGE CROWD of tourists there!
Went up to the wall, my mom was so frighten by this kind of stairs that have holes, then she gave up and made a return to downstair.
Spot the road sign? It says this is the street of amatory. I’m gonna bring my boyfriend here next time. LOL!
Sitting on the amatory stairs.
When think of Macau, usually what come out on people would be the Pork Burger. But it quite disappoint me coz it was so dry and the bun was too hard to bite.
At night, we met up with Carol and Wendy whose our colleagues here. They brought us around at some major point near by the working place, and we went for dinner together.
White shirt is Wendy, pink is Carol. Both of them are very very friendly girls who helped us a lot! I was so worried about working and living in this country but after listening to their experiences here, I feel so much better now.
Then we went for dessert. My mango tau fu fa tastes heavenly good! Smooth and not too sweet for people who are not sweet tooth like me.
My Mango Tau Fu Fa!
Sin Mei’s Mango Coconut Sago.
Oh and they’re Malaysian too!
With Sin Mei. My roommate aka hao peng you ;)
